L’Italiano Porticando, Italian language school in Turin (Italy) since 2005, has been offering Italian online classes since 2012. In the last years, to respond to the needs of our students and to the change of times, the range of online courses offered has been expanded. The school and their team of qualified Italian language teachers are providing all year round individual online courses, online courses in small groups and online courses in groups.
Among the school’s points of strengths are the online cultural courses to discover “la cultura italiana”. These go from Italian history of art to Italian history of architecture to Italian literature. Last but not least, for those who want to focus on “parlare in italiano” the school offers on a regular basis online conversation classes.
Coming from onsite teaching, you will soon realize that our online teachers’ approach does not really differ from the interactive one used in our in person classes: students will practice during their language classes all language abilities: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Grammar games, audio and videos tracks and role plays will make the learning process easier and fun!

Would you like to attend an Italian class together with a friend or your partner? Then our online small group classes are the right solution for you! The only condition is that you have the same level of knowledge of the language and that you can agree upon the same day(s) and time for your Italian language classes.
Before starting we will send you, unless you are absolute beginners, an entry test to have a clearer idea of your Italian and we will define with you your aims. Your teacher will then tailor for you the classes and help you to reach gradually your aim focusing on what is more important for you (grammar, speaking, listening etc.).

Studying Italian online in a group is not really different than studying Italian onsite in a group. You will meet international students interested in Italy and the Italian language!

Do you love literature and reading ? Reading Italian literature, from short stories to novels, is an ideal way to improve your Italian. It will help you to develop your vocabulary and to become idiomatic! This online cultural class is a kind of "Italian book club", it will give you the chance to get to know contempory Italian authors and to discuss what they have written with other international students.
The classes are organized in 4 weekly sessions of 1.5 hours each and are offered several times per year.

To become fluent in a language you have to speak it regularly. However, as all of us know, when we are not in the country it is not really easy to practice it.
Our conversation classes give you the opportunity to speak Italian with students from all over the world. Once per week you will meet to discuss topics related to the Italian way of life, society, Italian and international current affairs. You will learn new vocabulary, idiomatic expressions and sharing your opinion in Italian will become easier.
